Getting two photos to hug naturally
The two photos are placed side by side before the video is made, so they should match: similar crop (head and upper body), similar size and the same aspect ratio. Upper bodies and arms in frame give the model room to move them into a hug.
Photos that animate well
- One person per photo, facing the camera
- Upper body and arms visible, not just a face
- Plain or similar backgrounds blend better
- Old or scanned photos work; restore them first if they are very damaged
